Concept map is/are A hierarchical map that depicts relationships between its elements which are concepts.

Concept maps are diagrams showing the relationships among concepts. Concepts are connected with labelled arrows, in a downward branching hierarchical structure. The relationship between concepts is articulated in linking phrases, such as ‘gives rise to’, ‘results in’, ‘is required by’, or ‘contributes to’.
