Definition
Information is Data that has been organized within a context and translated into a form that has structure and meaning. The draft version of ISO 9001E 2014 defines information as meaningful data.
Note 1: The draft version of ISO 9001E 2014 defines information as meaningful data.
Note 2: Information is often used interchangeably with knowledge. There is often a thin line between the two concepts.
