Description
Competencies are critical carriers of knowledge; as such they are an effective way to capture the present reservoir of explicit and often years of accumulated tacit knowledge existing in a specific workforce. Furthermore, by understanding and defining future knowledge needs of nuclear-related technologies and infrastructure, suitable type of competencies should be updated or additionally developed for designing, manufacturing and maintaining the next generation of artefacts and systems.
