Summary
A learning organizationcan be survived under the high external pressure or in an adverse external environment by means of flat management, life-long learning, structure simplification and elastic response, etc. It facilitates the learning of its members and continuously transforms itself. This kind of organization is not a single model but rather a concept and attitude for its members, which uses a new way to think about the organization. Knowledge management is one of the most important methods to develop a learning organization.
