Concept map is A hierarchical map that depicts relationships between its elements which are concepts.
Summary
Description
Concept maps are graphical tools for organizing and representing knowledge. They include concepts and relationships between concepts indicated by a connecting line linking two concepts. Words on the line, referred to as linking words or linking phrases, specify the relationship between the two concepts. Concept maps are hierarchical with the most general concepts at the top of the map. In addition to concepts and the hierarchical links between them, concepts maps may include cross-links which represents the relatioships between different domains of the map. [1]
