Definition
Implicit knowledge is held in a person’s mind; it is the knowledge which has not yet been captured or transferred in any form. Knowledge that people carry in their heads.

Implicit knowledge is held in a person’s mind and is the knowledge which has not yet been captured or transferred in any form. However, it has the potential to be codified but has not yet been articulated or documented. It includes skills, experiences, insight, intuition and judgment. Implicit knowledge is difficult to reveal, but it is still possible to be recorded.
